IT'S ALL ABOUT EXECUTION
One of the things I think that sets me apart from some Product and UX Designers is execution. Making good decisions at every stage of the process is key. As designers today we are blessed with numerous tools and frameworks to approach any particular challenge.
The question is, what questions should we be asking, right now? Based on where we are in the process, the nature of the challenge, the constraints, the broader strategy, the opportunity and the rest of the organisation. And then using that to inform the next action.

Empathy matters, that's obviously true. But that orientation can be an early casualty when it comes to project goals, pressure, constraints and road blocks.
